Today the Svea 123R is still sold by Optimus. They are no longer produced in Sweden and some users report they are not as well made as the original Swedish made units. Seems those who buy the newer models, and have never used the old Swedish made units, are happy with them. Back in 1975 when I bought my SVEA 123r I was debating between it and the Optimus 8r.
